Wash Care

Hand Wash Only: We recommend hand washing our sarees to ensure the longevity of the fabric and the vibrant colors. Avoid using a washing machine.

Use Mild Detergent: Gently wash the saree using a mild detergent suitable for delicate fabrics. Avoid harsh chemicals or bleach.

Cold Water Wash: Wash the saree in cold or lukewarm water. Avoid hot water, as it may damage the fabric and colors.

Gentle Agitation: Swish the saree gently in the water without rubbing or wringing it. Treat the saree with care, especially if it has delicate embellishments.

Avoid Soaking: Do not soak the saree for an extended period. Excessive soaking may lead to color bleeding or damage to the embroidery and zari work.

Rinse Thoroughly: Ensure you rinse the saree thoroughly to remove all traces of detergent.

Drying: Hang the saree indoors to dry it. Avoid direct sunlight, as it may cause color fading. Do not wring the saree to remove excess water; instead, gently squeeze or pat it.

Ironing: Iron the saree on a low to medium setting while it’s slightly damp. Use a cotton or muslin cloth on top of the saree to protect delicate embroidery or zari work.

Storage: Store the saree in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Avoid folding along the embroidered or zari portions to prevent damage.
